Into the Archives: Robert Moevs is a galerie PLUTO exclusive tur of the Robert Moevs archive. The musicians, flute–Liene Krole; guitar–Julián Restrepo; and violin—Mareike Neumann; were each given compositions by American composer, Robert Moevs, the father of Marina Moevs, to play or consider as inspiration as part of the selected program. Jonathan Sauceda, PhD, Music and Performing Arts Librarian at Rutgers University provided the sheet music from Moevs’ archive at Mabel Smith Douglass Library. Check out galerie PLUTO’s tour with Sauceda of the archives and music library which includes more insight into Robert Moevs’ process as a composer.
